Over the years, committee & members have rallied to access funding to upgrade the club & its facilities, in 2007 funding was reserved but later revoked for a complete redevelopment of the site. In 2015 thanks to the tireless efforts of ward councillor Tony Ansett the COGG approved the funding for half the buildings upgrade, stage 1. These works were completed over the 2017 season and officially opened in 2018.
